Chaffery uses only the cookies it cannot work without — so there is no cookie banner to click away.

The cookies we set

• chf_shopper_live — keeps you signed in on Chaffery. Set when you sign in, deleted when you sign out; expires after 30 days.
• chf_seller_live — the same for the seller panel.
• chaffery_lang — remembers the language you chose, so that the right version opens. Expires after one year.

These cookies are strictly necessary for functions you ask for, so the law does not require consent for them. They are our own (first-party) cookies, and the sign-in cookies cannot be read by scripts.

Stored in your browser

A few preferences are kept in your browser’s own storage and stay on your device: light or dark appearance, your language, your last five searches, the store you last opened in the seller panel, a marker while you connect a store or return from the payment page, and whether you closed an announcement.

What we do not use

No analytics, no advertising, no social-media plug-ins, no fingerprinting and no third-party cookies. Our pages load nothing from other companies: scripts, styles and product photos all come from our own servers, and text is shown in your device’s own fonts.

When you follow a link to a store, or a seller opens Polar’s payment page, you leave Chaffery; those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Without the sign-in cookie you cannot stay signed in; everything that works without an account keeps working.
