You name the price. The store decides. Nobody haggles.
Chaffery collects what shoppers would really pay and shows stores the total. When a store’s price meets yours, you hear first.
Does Chaffery cost anything?
Not for shoppers — ever. Stores pay a small monthly fee for each product they list.
Is a target an order?
No. It is not an order, a payment authorisation or a commitment. It only tells the store that someone would buy at that price.
When exactly do I get an alert?
When the product is listed on Chaffery, the option you chose can be bought, and the store’s verified price is equal to or lower than your target. You get one alert per price change.
What does the store see?
How many shoppers would buy at each price, the average and the trend. Never who you are, and never your contact details.
Can I change my mind?
Any time. Change your price, mute alerts for one product, or withdraw the target. Editing a target does not count you twice.
Why do targets expire?
So that stores make decisions on live demand. We remind you before a target expires, and renewing takes one tap.
What are seller notes?
Short public statements such as “This is my final price”. They are not private messages, and a note alone never triggers an alert — only the real store price does.
Why can I not compare prices across currencies?
Because exchange rates move. Chaffery keeps every product in its store’s currency so your target means exactly what you typed.
What if a price or product looks wrong?
Use “Report a problem” on the product page. Listings are read from the store’s platform automatically, so mistakes are usually ours to fix — and we do, quickly.
